William Gibson’s powerful drama depicting the early life of Helen Keller and the “miracle” that occurred at the pump. BladeSports International Inc.™ is a Texas non-profit corporation formed to promote knife safety, provide workshops and cutting events for its members, and to inform and educate the public with regard to the safe use of a knife as a tool. Throughout the year, they host events for certified cutters and members of BladeSports to attend. These events are spread across the country giving many the chance to participate in this exhilarating competitions.

This pioneer log building dates from about 1815 and is one of the town’s earliest structures.

The Helen Keller Art Show at Tennessee Valley Art Museum

The exhibit is a traveling juried art show that displays artwork created by students throughout Alabama who have visual impairments, blindness, and/or deaf-blindness. Also showcasing exhibits featuring the art of: Sharon Miller – a watercolor artist, and an exhibit entitled “Art of the Resistance.”
