Red Handed is a 5 piece rock band based in North Alabama. Friends for years, the love of live music, either performing or listening, has been their common passion. Together their aim is to bring the best songs in 50 years of rock to life for our audience. The band includes Tyler Stewart (keyboards), Steve Brown (bass/vocals), Andy Terry (guitar/vocals), Martin Stewart (guitar/vocals), and Jeremy Hastings (percussion).

JEROME PARKER AND THE RUBBER BAND

Jerome Parker and the Rubber Band is a group of musicians from Muscle Shoals, AL. They started out as a bar band, just a group of friends playing at local venues and events in the area., including the WC Handy Festival. Playing at the festival will be Jerome Parker (lead vocals), Todd McHargue (guitar/vocals), Steve Vickery (bass/vocals), Chase Weatherford (guitar), and Matt McHargue (drums).

AUSTIN BOHANNON

Hailing from the legendary Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Austin Bohannon has mesmerized audiences with his distinct fusion of country twang and high-energy anthems since autumn 2021, firmly establishing himself as a formidable presence. Austin’s exceptional talent is deeply rooted in his diverse background, He delivers unforgettable musical experiences that leave an indelible mark on the hearts of his listeners. Austin has solidified his reputation as an authentic entertainer, setting the stage ablaze and igniting parties wherever he goes. Austin has gathered an impressive following, with his music amassing over 250,000 streams and continuing to grow.

GARY NICHOLS

Gary Nichols is an American country music singer born in Tuscumbia, AL. He made his debut with the release of his single “Unbroken Ground.”  In April 2009, he replaced Chris Stapleton as the lead singer and guitarist of The SteelDrivers. He left the band after seven successful years and leading the band to win its first Grammy. Fully recovered, and with a newfound passion for music, he has signed with Nashville’s RBR Entertainment, and begun recording bluegrass again. Their debut collaboration, “Fire In The Dark” reached number one on both the Grassicana and Bluegrass Today charts. On a parallel path, with his producing partners Dan Hannon and Michael Shane Wright, he has completed the recording of an album in Muscle Shoals called “Learning How To Walk Again” that tells the story of his rise and fall and the road to recovery that followed.

TAYLOR GRACE

Taylor Grace is a singer songwriter from Muscle Shoals, AL, with a passion for inspiring others. She started writing songs at the young age of 6, influenced by artists like Sugarland and Taylor Swift. Growing up in the Shoals, and being just a short drive from Nashville, she’s been lucky to work with professional songwriters such as James LeBlanc, Angela Hacker, and Mark Narmore. She recently played Hangout Fest and has recorded at studios such as FAME Recording Studio and The Nutthouse, all while continuing to grow her craft.

WINSTON RAMBLE

Based in Birmingham, AL, Winston Ramble describes their music as homegrown folk n’ roll. With members originally hailing from the free state of Winston County, AL, the band aims to interject the raw expression of rock n’ roll into the feel good vibes of acoustic music. Ben Benefield’s vocals are soulful yet gritty. The acoustically driven tunes carry a funky, sometimes psychedelic, and undeniably rock n’ roll vibe. The band consists of Justin Oliver (Mandolin / Vocals), Ben Benefield (Lead Vocals / Electric Guitar), Taylor Goodwin (Lead Guitar), Ryan Brown (Bass), and AJ Covey (Drums).

Collin Raye takes the stage at 8:30pm.

COLLIN RAYE

Collin Raye shot to fame with “Love Me” in 1991. Since then, he has put out 24 top ten records, 16 #1 hits, and has been a 10 time male vocalist of the year nominee. He has consistently used his stardom to advance social causes and won Country Radio Seminar’s Humanitarian of the Year award in 2001.

SARAH HARDWIG

Sarah Hardwig, 21, is a country singer-songwriter and songwriting major at Belmont University. She recently won a Tennessee Songwriters Week Showcase and was named a winner of a Danny Award for musicians with disabilities, performing at the ceremony in New York City. Sarah has sung the national anthem over 250 times, including at the 2022 Music City Bowl at Nissan Stadium in Nashville after winning the Amazon Voice of the Bowl contest.

Deja Vu is a high-energy cover band based in the Shoals area. They focus on 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s classic rock, soul, funk, and blues. Larry Crowell (lead vocals), Lori Simmons (lead vocals), Rick Collins (drums), Tommy James (keyboards/vocals), Alton Rice (lead guitar/vocals), and Keith Behel (bass/vocals) are a group of lifelong singers and musicians who have come together to showcase their talents as Deja Vu, and their music will have you dancing, tapping your foot, and singing along to some favorite, familiar tunes.

MUSIC CITY MISFITS

Music City Misfits is a five-piece rock and roll band based out of Muscle Shoals, AL. The band consists of Matt McHargue (drums), Chase Weatherford (guitar), Todd McHargue (guitar), Promise Gilkeson (lead vocals), and Jade Putman (bass). The range of Gilkeson on vocals allows the band to cover a wide range of genres, from classic to punk, top 40s to soft rock. Whatever the genre of the original song though, you can be sure that the Misfits will stamp it with their own brand of Muscle shoals rock and roll. The Misfits are currently working on their first LP and will share their original music with the world for the first time at the Helen Keller Festival in June 2024.
