There will be an unveiling of a brand new historic marker honoring Governor Lindsay followed by a short ceremony.

William Gibson’s powerful drama depicting the early life of Helen Keller and the “miracle” that occurred at the pump. The production is in its 62nd year at Ivy Green, Helen Keller’s home, Tuscumbia. Each performance is signed for the hearing impaired. For ticket information contact 256-383-4066.

The Helen Keller Art Show at Tennessee Valley Art Museum

The exhibit is a traveling juried art show that displays artwork created by students throughout Alabama who have visual impairments, blindness, and/or deaf-blindness. Also showcasing exhibits featuring the art of: Ara Dona – a portrait/figurative painter specializing in realistic oil paintings Lori Putnam – an en plein air artist recognized for her expressive brushwork and intelligent use of color
