The Helen Keller Festival Keller Kids Program aims to provide enrichment to kids and teens while teaching them about the life and accomplishments of Helen Keller through education and hands-on learning.
rip•ple
rip·ple is a program that encourages education and celebrates local heritage while inspiring hope and connection in our community, all in the spirit of Helen Keller. This art initiative is being created to benefit the Keller Kids program offered during our annual festival and the AIDB Shoals Regional Center in Tuscumbia. We hope to be able to continue to build exciting programs for the community, while teaching others about accessibility and the achievements of our own local heroes.
rip·ple is open to all Colbert County students in grades 3-12. The final product will be a high-quality, coffee-table book composed of student art submissions consisting of poetry, painting, photography, and other visual arts. All content will be inspired by the life and voice of Helen.
