Friends of Helen Keller
The Helen Keller Festival is proud to introduce a new way for individuals to contribute and sponsor the festival by making a $ 100.00 tax deductible donation to the Friends of Helen Keller. Tuscumbia is the past and present hometown to many impactful individuals in recent years. Beginning this year we are giving those folks a chance to give back by contributing to the Friends of Helen Keller. As way for us to thank you for your generosity, we will provide each $ 100.00 contributor with a pair of weekend passes to this year’s festival as well as publish your name in the Friends of Helen Keller sponsorship section featured in the newspaper along with our schedule of events. The Festival would not be what it is today, if not for the many local and national sponsors who have enthusiastically supported the festival. Without you, our sponsors, there is no festival!
The festival draws thousands of visitors to the Shoals area each year and generates economic impact across the Quad Cities. Everyone knows about the great entertainment that your sponsorship helps provide for our community, but the festival is so much more. The festival is 7 full days filled with historical tours, entertainment, arts and crafts, Keller Kids, Imagination Station, athletic events, car shows and much, much more. Keller Kids is a free all day program for 4th, 5th and 6th graders teaching them about living with and overcoming disabilities. Imagination Station is a free event over 2days featuring activities such as children’s arts and crafts booths, face painting, balloons and most importantly, educations about vision and hearing disabilities.
The Helen Keller Festival has received numerous state and national event awards over the last 10 years. We are very proud of the success and longevity of the Helen Keller Festival and are firmly dedicated to making sure this festival is kept alive and successful for generations to come! We consider it an honor to volunteer out time and resources to make this year’s festival a success. Please review our attached pledge form to become a contributor with the Friends of Helen Keller. On behalf of the Helen Keller Festival Board, thank you in advance for your help and support in the 2016 Festival. Please remember that the Festival is a 501 (c) 3 and any donations are tax deductible.
